The Wrenn Report: Exchange Place - Jersey City, NJ

Often fondly referred to as “Wall Street West” because of the many financial corporations occupying office space in the area, the Exchange Place neighborhood of Jersey City is comprised of a wonderful mix of both commercial and residential high rise buildings located on the water’s edge.

Starting as a transportation hub in the early 1800’s, Exchange Place continues that legacy today as a one of the main New Jersey PATH station stops, responsible for accommodating tens of thousands of people - both residents and commuters - that frequent the terminal each day.

Exchange Place offers great accessibility and unsurpassed convenience to all of its residents. In addition to being surrounded by a host of superb restaurants and cafes, many people choose to call Exchange Place home as many major Jersey City corporations are within the same vicinity as residential buildings, making the work commute virtually effortless. This is also one the reasons that many former New Yorkers are now living in the neighborhood.

With direct access to Christopher Columbus Drive and Grand Street, traveling in and out of Exchange Place and Jersey City is very easy. Exchange Place is perfect for families as excellent schools are close by, as is the area’s hotel – a gorgeous Hyatt Regency, and the Jersey City Medical Center. A small, but notable nightlife scene attracts many young couples and individuals; also noting that Manhattan is just a few minutes away on the train.

Most of the Jersey City real estate in Exchange Place is comprised of highrise condos and apartment homes. However, the range of home styles and services vary greatly, from simple buildings housing elegant units to towers featuring handsomely-outfitted lobbies and deluxe condominiums. People looking for a wide assortment of Jersey City apartments or condos will be satisfied with the variety that Exchange Place has to offer. Plus, with one of the key PATH train stations so close by, Exchange Place is one Jersey City neighborhood a prospective resident cannot afford to pass by looking at.

About Locally Located.com - tips on selling your property

Hello,

On this installment of “About Locally Located.com”  I would like to focus on the benefits of not just listing your property with us, but a few other very powerful tools you’ll have at your disposal at no additional cost.

The three points we will be going over in detail are below….

PPC (pay per click) property listing’s - “Pay per click” means you are only charged if your property listing is actually clicked on and opened.  This means there is no charge to list the property, the only charges would occur if your property listing is being viewed by someone who has taken the time to narrow down their specific criteria to match your property listing.  Pay per click property listings are a huge benefit to the person listing property in this regard because you only pay for results.  There is no risk of paying monthly or yearly listing fees, and wondering if you’re getting your monies worth.  Another big benefit is unlike a traditional MLS, everyone will be coming to locally located.com, not just other realtors, for all sorts of real estate related information and property listings.  The more prospective home buyers viewing your property the better chance you have of making a larger commission and selling your property.

Blogs - The word “blog” stands for “web log”.  Blogs are a very powerful, simple and free tool that you can benefit from in many ways when marketing yourself, and your properties.  Blogs can be utilized in the following ways…

  • Blogs enable increased presence on major search engines like Google and Yahoo!.
  • Blogs enable you to speak directly and candidly with your customer and prospects.
  • Blogs provide an additional channel to put your brand in front of the customer and keep shaping its unique identity in real-time.
  • A real estate-related blog community will help set you apart from the competition and allow you to strengthen brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Blogs enable you to build personal, long-lasting relationships with your customer that foster trust.
  • Blogs are very niche-specific. You can use them to penetrate niche markets that are underserved.
  • The media relies on blogs for source material. As a result, journalists call you, not your competition.
  • Blogs are a more personal form of lead generation in that they enable you to establish rapport with readers which fosters trust. Over time that can mean contacts from prospects and customers.
  • Articulate your viewpoints, knowledge, and expertise on matters pertaining to real estate, your local community, etc.
  • Blogs require no technical skills. If you can send an email or use Word, you can blog. It’s that easy!

These are just a few of the reasons you should start blogging today.  Please contact info@locallylocated.com to set up your free blog today!

Forums - forums are platforms for people to discuss and voice their opinions of news, property listings, new developments, etc.  Forums are also called “message boards”.  People participating in an Internet forum can build bonds with each other and interest groups will easily form around a topic’s discussion, subjects dealt with in or around sections in the forum.  Each property listing you have should have a thread started about it within the appropriate category.   A thread is defined by a title, an additional description that may summarize the intended discussion, and an opening or original post which opens whatever dialogue or makes whatever announcement the poster wishes to discuss ( i.e.  Just to market, a 2 bed 2 bath just steps from the PATH!).  Through your property thread you will expose your property to a large audience, who in return can comment on, ask questions about, or view pictures of your property.  You can can provide up to the minute updates on a property like special promotions, open house dates, price changes etc.

The bottom line is forums are very effective and free marketing tools at your disposal.  They only take moments to start and are very simple to manage.  All you have to do is register at http://www.locallylocated.com/sign_up.php.  After you have completed the quick registration process, and are signed into your account, on the right side of the page you will have a control panel of sorts called “Quick Links”, click on “My forum” and you are set, just pick the category that applies to your thread, above the already posted threads you will see a tab called “new thread”, just click it and enter the information, pictures etc you want shown.  Click “preview thread” to review what the thread will actually look like, if everything is as it should be click “submit thread”.  That’s it, you just utilized one of the most powerful marketing tools on the internet and it’s free!

We hope this was helpful.

Talk to you soon,
